Lemme see if I can just flow since it has been awhile…
I will be boarding my 3rd flight home to Maryland in the last 3 months. This is the 2nd of the 3 trips planned. The last, as many of you read, was during Thanksgiving to be there for my dad and family while my dad underwent surgery. He is doing alot better and the doctors are saying that he will be almost back to normal in a few more weeks but that his progress has been going really well. My mom just is sad since he has gotten alot more grumpy and short with her, I mean I know that he is going through alot of pain, that he prolly feels that he cant do alot of stuff like shoveling the snow and carrying all the needless gifts my mom really goes nuts for during the Holidays… but I think that being home all day and not really being able to interact with much human contact has its own effects on him, that sometimes my mom’s questions do get tiring.
Lately I been questioning my job alot. Been voicing it out more often with some people about how I am no ENGINEER and how this is not the kind of job I saw myself doing. When many of my coworkers find out I went to Georgetown they are quite surprised. 1.) because Georgetown is quite a good school 2.) because I actually have a college education, and I guess many people that used to do what I do did not have one. So it has been somewhat weird going through the motions, I try and keep it interesting and lively though by conversating with so many people… I have become quite the popular person at work, kinda like a doctor making his rounds in a hospital as I can almost stop at each office in my building and chat with whomever I bump into…. quite fun! I am thinking more and more about going into social work and looking into grad schools. I need to start enriching myself in more than delving into my Fantasy sports and reality tv addictions. To exercise my brain I try and think of good music mixes to make, or to try to anticipate the top 5 at 5 in music songs, or rewinding how mad I am at the finale of Average Joe (YES I AM STILL ANNOYED BY IT!). I even started getting into the gameshow called “BEAT THE GEEK”! hehe, that is a show where they have 4 savants in music, movies, tv, and usually something unusual like Horror Movies or Saturday Morning Geek. I wonder if I can ever make it on there for being a cartoon GEEK… ok, I think I have more of a life than that.
My room is such a mess! I am a packrat when it comes to mail. Everywhere is paper and bills I continue to pile up. I am surprised that I have not gotten into one of my big cleaning frenzies yet and thrown everything away and if it was important to worry about that when it happens.
I wanna see some people over the Xmas break so call me or text me and maybe we can meet up at some point. I will be back in San Diego next weekend and I still aint got no New Year’s plans!

p.s. for anyone that saw LOTR: Return of the King… dont you think the ending with the bed thing was kinda GAY! like alot of slow motion and a sorta THIS IS YOUR LIFE sequence???? I was like EEEEEwwwww!
