I am looking to have a good time this weekend since this is one of the rare weekends I will be home in Maryland with no real commitments!
Looking forward to hitting up Dupont tomorrow night for Brandon’s bday bonanza! Of course, it all depends on how much I drink at Tomb’s after work tomorrow, and it is not a real Tomb’s experience without a pitcher in your hands

Happy 1 Year Anniversary Baby!!! Well it was actually yesterday but you only left for NY today and should be checking in to her apartment with her sister by now… For our anniversary dinner I took her to Normandie Farms in Potomac. I love driving by that place and just taking a deep breathe thinking of the one day I would be able to take someone really special there… and not just as a Homecoming or Prom date. The dinner was great, and very well priced for a restaurant in that part of town especially.
My gf and her sister spent the last week with my family and now I am urging her to just live with us na and move out of her NY apt since it is just collecting rent money. So we shall see how her parents handle that prospect, but my parents are totally cool with it
Just planned 4th of July weekend with Monique… Matinee show of Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, hurry to back to Maryland to go to a Michael Buble concert at Wolftrap the next day, then stay in DC for the 4th of July at the Washington Monument.
I love this courtship…

First of all, if you get a weird message from me on AIM to click on something… DON’T click on it!!! There is some stupid AIM virus going around that I am infected with and don’t know how to get rid of it. Can anyone suggest something for me???
So now an actual update from my 4 days in Orlando, Florida with my bestest girlfriend Monique!
Disneyworld was awesome… we stayed with my Tito and Tita who lived near Orlando. So it was nice since they took us around to some of the old style Orlando with the pretty brick roads and that southern home feel. So I was glad to have that glimpse of what life would be like there.
We opted not to rent a car since we would spend the whole day at the parks anyways, so instead we got dropped off in downtown Orlando and road the bus into the parks for $1.50. Plus it gave us that NY/DC feel of bus/subway
.
Day 1, it was raining hard with thunder when we woke up (kinda like this evening), and we were pretty discharged but jumped on the bus and decided for a nice long day at Epcot Center with the focus on the World Showcase. For anyone that has not heard of this it is 9 countries that bought some land and were able to build structures that highlighted aspects of their “exaggerated” traditions. The countries were Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, England, France, Japan, Morocco, and the United States. Each region has some form of entertainment like a ride, a movie, as well as demonstrations of their culture. Everyone that works there is from the country and is brought in from their country to work at Epcot. There are kiosks and 2-3 restaurants focusing on their yummy cuisines. Plus they sell alot of things found only from their country, like yummy chocolate from Germany, some fancy perfumes from France, and ninja stars in Japan. So if you like traveling I cant imagine a more fun place to go to just dabble in so much places all within a day.
Here is a PHAT pic of a chinese acrobat troupe…
yes, and those red things are spinning on her foot.
Wednesday, it rained again but again we wanted to take advantage of the long day so we went to Magic Kingdom. Alot of the same rides as we all are used to like It’s a Smallworld, the Winnie the Pooh ride, and Haunted Mansion. But we were more into the 3-D show showcasing the musicals…
Thursday we took advantage of the park-hopper a family friend gave us to go to Animal Kingdom to go on their safari ride and to check out the over-the-top Lion King show. Then we darted over to MGM Studios… we had to catch the shows once again Beauty and the Beast and a very sad/disappointing Little Mermaid.
SOoo that was our trip in a nutshell… lots of good times and laughing like little kids. I suggest all the lovebirds out there to go to Disneyworld and find your own castle

To buy a new car or to lease another one… Does anyone have any suggestions? The situation is that I am winding down on my 3 year lease on my 2003 Corolla is ending in June-July. I can buy it outright with $8000, but I knew when I started leasing the car that I did not want this car after the 3 years were up… I mean manual roll-down windows are ok, but pale in comparison to automatic whhhzzzz!!!
The more ideas and opinions I get the better the decision I can make.
