Saw two movies this weekend. Just felt like doing it solo since I wanted to sneak into one to compensate for the rather expensive movie ticket sales.. plus it gives me more time to just think. It is funny, I have a movie buddy here whom I really just watch a movie with and do nothing with before or afterwards, we just make a comment or two after the movie then just go our separate ways. It is weird the first few times but then it really ends up being a relief. Both parties use each other for that “oh I am with that person” excuse for not watching a movie on yer own, yet both parties dont have to deal with the pleasantries afterwards and I dont have to wind up paying
.
So I saw Bourne Supremacy. Quite a good movie, not as much action but more of the storyline than with the first. It is tough to do a sequel and I think this is definitely a very entertaining flick but if you havent seen the first one then this one may not be as amazing for ya.
Then I saw Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. I personally did not find it as knee slapping as I hoped it would be. Some aspects were funny but I definitely found Dodgeball and Anchorman more to my liking…. I think it is more the humor and the joke development. I think Harold and Kumar lacked the surprise star power that the other movies have, yes Doogie Howser and Van Wilder are surprises, but not really HUGE ones since neither of those actors have a flourishing acting record in the past year or so, does anyone get that?
Ok, done with my mini-rambling. I will have alot more of these ramblings the the next month and a half so bear with me.
