  • Life is going great for me now. Job now is entertaining enough and there are plenty of laughs and belly giggling with all the grad school students coming in and out of the office.

Took advantage of major airfare savings from Independence Air and got two tickets for my special gal and I to visit Mickey Mouse and company end of May. I am so happy, DisneyWorld is really so much better than Disneyland… and EPCOT Center World Showcase is definitely the place you will see me running around like a little kid! So happy I have been able to give someone this trip and to have her go with me to share in all the happiness that Disney has given me. Definitely a dream come true!

  • Happy trails to everyone out there in xanga world :)

So i got a call back from one of my mass resume send out parties and I cant seem to remember what company the lady is calling from. I mean she left me a message on my voicemail for Human Technologies, but when I tried to search their website it came up with something funny, so I dont know the likelihood that they are going to pan out… we shall see if they call me again though.

So big ups to mom for not only getting me the Smallville DVDs Season 1,2, and 3 for Xmas but she just handed me Quantum Leap Seasons 1 & 2 on dvd this week for my bday! Thanks MOM!!! Anyone down for a Quantum Leap marathon this weekend? K, I bet I wont get very many responses for that one. :)

My friend from San Diego is in town for the next two weeks, so I am looking to take her around DC so drop me a line if you know of anything going on these next two weekends or if you wanna come out and meet her (wink, wink)

  • So I planned this surprise trip up to New York to visit my Beloved… and the surprise worked!  She was completely surprised and her smile shown radiant as can be and my heart melted upon her glee.  And to top it off, the David Letterman show called me on Wednesday in reply to my tickets request I made back in October. I just had to answer their question: “Who is Rupert?”.. and away we go!  hehehehe… So after exchanging hugs, kisses, and bites we took my mom out for lunch at Dragonfly here in the West Village and then made our way to the set.  Filming for the Live Late Show started at 4:30 but we had to get there and wait in line by 2pm and then wait around til 3:30.  It is an interesting ordeal to be there for the taping of the show to air later for everyone.  The guests were Nicole Ritchie and Robert Downey Jr… the show was entertaining and the set being there in person is really really small and quite intimate.  Our seats were really good but on the wrong side as Dave always goes to one side of the audience to ask them questions about Stumping the Band and giving away his Blown Up Popcorn.  So after the show, we did what every “head-over heels in loved” couples do and we bought each other matching Live from the Late Show t-shirts, yes I said MATCHING!  hehehe, ode to the day that we are caught wearing them simultaneously.  :)

So I will be in New York til Sunday, weather forbid.  It is supposed to snow pretty hard this weekend.  So bundle up everyone!

  • Thanks from all the bday greetings!  definitely made my mild-mannered bday much better.  I mean to be able to come home and check my emails and xanga and seeing all the messages really made me smile.  Definitely looking forward to unwinding a bit this Friday night at Club H20… Too many things on my mind and just wanting to see as many of you as I can and party like the old days with lots of smiles, lots of drinks, and just having fun.

  • I got some sort of a headache.. not feeling too happy since there is alot of negativity going on in my house now.  You all know how chismis spreads, well it is sad to see it spreading among my parents and another family.  So ya, there is some sort of an uproar in my house and their New Jersey friends and just makes me queezy taking in all the yelling and plotting that goes on.

    Just thought I would share.
