  • Ok, so here is my weekend update:

Friday: Went to work until noon, then had to rush home to catch my 2 o’clock flight.. piece of cake.  Then flew into BWI, landed at midnight.  Parents pick me up from BWI enroute to New Jersey, arrive in NJ at about 3:30AM since my dad drives slow.

Saturday: Wake up at 8am.  Take the spanish bus to the Port Authority, meet Monique and Monina at Lion King.  Eat lunch at Ruby Foo’s.

Then we saw the Lion King… great show!  Love the costumes, stage, and set design the best… again I felt like a little kid watching how much the stage transformed…  Monique and her sister Monina.
Then we had mirianda at Mozart Cafe to celebrate Monina’s birthday and to meet more of Mo’s friends… had some good conversation about FIND and ECASU with a pinay from Harvard… Then hopped on a bus at the Port Authority to Woodbridge NJ for a barbq for my mom’s birthday.  Got the regular interviews from the Titas about why I like Monique and about our first “date”… so that was fun, my parents already love her!

The barbq ended at about 10pm then we road back into NYC and hung out at the Omni Birkshire before I walked M & M back to their apartment in the Village.  Then Monique and I had our first alone date at Dragonfly, a filipino joint near NYU… I left her place at about 3am.

Sunday: Woke up at 9am to catch mass at St. Peter’s Basilica…. then there was some fair so Madison street was closed.  Got to meet up with the M & M sisters, then ate at Burger Heaven.  Left NYC at 2PM to catch my 7PM flight from BWI.  Arrived back at San Diego at 10PM.

(yes, I know that was an extremely boring entry)

  • I hate people who think they can make simplified solutions to my life when they havent talked to me in months and they think they still know me.

Ok, just had to write that.

  • Saw two movies this weekend.  Just felt like doing it solo since I wanted to sneak into one to compensate for the rather expensive movie ticket sales.. plus it gives me more time to just think.  It is funny, I have a movie buddy here whom I really just watch a movie with and do nothing with before or afterwards, we just make a comment or two after the movie then just go our separate ways.  It is weird the first few times but then it really ends up being a relief.  Both parties use each other for that “oh I am with that person” excuse for not watching a movie on yer own, yet both parties dont have to deal with the pleasantries afterwards and I dont have to wind up paying  .

So I saw Bourne Supremacy.  Quite a good movie, not as much action but more of the storyline than with the first.  It is tough to do a sequel and I think this is definitely a very entertaining flick but if you havent seen the first one then this one may not be as amazing for ya.

Then I saw Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.  I personally did not find it as knee slapping as I hoped it would be.  Some aspects were funny but I definitely found Dodgeball and Anchorman more to my liking…. I think it is more the humor and the joke development.  I think Harold and Kumar lacked the surprise star power that the other movies have, yes Doogie Howser and Van Wilder are surprises, but not really HUGE ones since neither of those actors have a flourishing acting record in the past year or so, does anyone get that?

Ok, done with my mini-rambling.  I will have alot more of these ramblings the the next month and a half so bear with me.

  • For me life is all about late nite conversation

  • You ever get that feeling like when you were a kid of when you have done something bad but feel like you are almost going to throw up when sent to the Principal’s Office??  Well that is me, and prolly will be me for the next few weeks.  I will be pretty quiet and definitely more selective with who I wind up hanging out with since time is precious… Big decisions in my near future that get myself all choked up.  But alas I choose not to talk about it much and will just try to live a normal life and smile occassionally.  Some of you already know, some dont, so I will continue to hide amongst the shadows until I feel like stepping out.

  • Gross… I went to the club recently and just remembered there was a point in the night where I was dancing on the dance floor and could not shake this guy from continuously dancing in front of me… like he was dancing eerily close to me.  It felt so strange like “dude get away from my line of sight”.. like there were so many other places where he could have been dancing yet he chose standing right in the spot covering me from the other women  .  I mean isnt that some cardinal rule among guys to move out the way when you are blocking the line of sight???  Ok, maybe he did have that whole Euro-vibe going and my gaydar was going all haywire!!! But still????  Cant a man just dance in the club and not have a guy pseudo rubbing himself on you???

  • Would you use this??? Notice people cannot see inside, however you can see them…

    Definitely high kinky factor involved!

  • Is it bad when you wake up in the middle of the night because you are thinking of Fantasy Football drafts in 2 weeks????   ACK!  Thanks JP for that entry that implanted that thought in my head yesterday!
